No. There is one strap, and it buckles at your waist to hold the massager in place. Once it is clipped your arms come down and stay down, unlike collar massagers where you pull two arm loops the whole session to keep the pressure on.
Yes. The two heat levels are optional. You can use the kneading on its own or add warmth when you want it.
